1.Product Introduction

ED8000 underground electronic marker locator is a special handheld instrument for detecting underground electronic marker. It adopts 32-bit high-performance processor based on ARM architecture, with more than 3000 data samples per second and quick response; Asynchronous differential measurement technology (patented) is adopted in distance measurement, which can obtain accurate measurement results even in the case of interference. ED-8000 can support two modes: analog mode (Non ID) and digital mode(RFID). In the analog mode, ED8000 can detect all electronic markers with standard frequency (gas 83/87 kHz, telecom 101.4khz, sanitary 121.6 kHz, water 145.7khz, power 169.8khz, general 66.35/133.3khz, TV 77khz), for example, The Non ID markers manufactured by either our Locator or  3M can be detected by ED8000 in analog mode. In the digital mode, ED8000 can detect the ID markers manufactured by our Locator, and is equipped with optional Android App and cloud storage to manage the identified data, so as to realize the visual management of underground pipelines.

3. Product Features

1, Used together with underground electronic marker to form an underground pipeline electronic identification system;
2, In the digital mode, the preset ID number in the marker can be read. Through the cloud database associated with the ID number, more information of underground facilities can be obtained, such as site image, buried date, construction personnel, category of underground facilities (valves, joints..), Material and size of underground facilities, etc.
3, The ED8000 can flexibly select RFID mode:
Non ID mode:
only detect the electromagnetic induction signal of underground electronic marker without RFID decoding. It has fast response speed and is compatible with underground electronic markers with the same frequency produced by different manufacturers, including ID or Non ID markers;

Automatic mode:
in the default working state, only the induction signal of underground electronic marker is detected without real-time RFID decoding. Decoding will not be performed until the depth button is pressed.

RFID ON mode:
RFID decodes in real time and sends out prompt tone and signal strength information only when the ID marker is found. The response speed of the locator in this mode is slightly slower. Its advantage is that it can completely shield the influence of interference signal. As long as there is notification, it can confirm that the marker is found.
4, It has an optional android app. In the installation stage of underground electronic marker, there is no need to carry the detector host. Only any mobile phone with Android or Hongmeng OS can complete the input and upload of identification point information by scanning the bar code.
5, Support the special satellite positioning handheld terminal with Android OS, and achieve the centimeter level positioning accuracy of identification points.
6, Support cloud storage of identification information.

6.Others
The DB value commonly used to identify signal strength in the world is only a relative unit, not an absolute unit of measurement. Therefore, the DB value obtained by measuring the same marker by locators from different manufacturers may be completely different.
The waterproof grade of ED8000 marker locator is IP54, which does not support long-term rain and soaking in water. If the locator accidentally ED8000 Marker Locator 16 enters water, it needs to be suspended from use and can be used again after the equipment is completely dry.
Try to avoid exposing the locator to the sun for a long time.
